The Drill Room is the largest event room and includes 5,375 square feet.

Rental F.A.Q.’s

*Please note, you still need to follow the specific details in your rental contract, but here are some quick answers to frequently asked questions.

When is my rental payment due?

Your first payment of 50% of the event cost is required when you reserve the date with us. The final payment must be made at least 30 days before your event. You can come in or call us to pay with a credit card (additional fee(s), or you can write a check to Adrian Armory Events Center.

Does the Armory have a catering/bartender service that we must use for our food?

No. We do have a list of caterers’ and other services that we recommend, see our preferred vendors list- but you are free to use any vendors that you wish for your event, so long as they have proper food handling certification. If you are serving alcohol at your event you must have a certified bartender on staff. Ask for details!

Will I need liability insurance for my event?

Yes. You can usually purchase one day rental insurance. Most insurance companies can add this through your homeowner’s policy. Please note that if you are serving alcohol at your event you must have alcohol listed as an insurable item on your policy.

Non-profit organizations serving alcohol at their event must get a special use permit from Michigan Liquor Control Commission – plan to apply for this at least two months before your event.

What time can we arrive to decorate for our event?

You can be here as early as 8 am the day of your event to decorate. You may also pay a decoration rental fee of $400 for half-day access the day before to decorate – this is recommended for weddings and larger events. You can not have anything hung on the walls or stuck with tape. Open flames are not allowed, including candles for decoration – you may use battery operated candles as a substitute. Please talk with our event planner for tips on decoration and further questions you may have.

Parking
If all spaces in our parking lot are full, there are several other options for parking that are only a 3 minute or less walk from our building. We will provide you with parking maps to send to your guests.

Cleaning – what is the renter’s responsibility?

Everything that comes with you must go: your decorations, supplies, trash, etc. Trash must be picked up and put into the facility dumpster near the back of the building. Any spills/messes must be cleaned up by renter. We will do the sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc after your event. If the facility is not sufficiently cleaned, we will charge you a cleaning fee. Please see your rental contract for details.

Closing time ♪♫ You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here.

You will have until 12:30 am to leave the facility. Last call for alcohol must be at or before 11 pm, bar closes at 11:15 pm the music must be off by 11:30 pm, and the facility must be clean and empty by 12:30 am. If you have to leave some boxes for pickup later you must come back Monday morning after 10 am when we open. If left later than this are subject to a storage fee.

Event Planning

We want to help make sure your event is a success! Our event manager will work with you to get an timeline and floor plan in place. Any changes to your plan less than 30 days before your event are subject to fees.

We are open Monday through Friday for a Walk Through (via appointment) if you would like to tour the space, or if your vendors need to come in for planning. Other appointment times can be requested through contacting us at: adrianarmoryllc@gmail.com
