E-newsletter sent August 3, 2022:

With everything happening in the world right now, we’re grateful for the many small wins we see in our local area. Here are just a few “bright futures” we can update you on…

We see resilience in the businesses in Lenawee County.

They adjust and adapt to continue their success. Since we started the Launch Lenawee program, we’ve helped many small and micro businesses get established, get focused, and get profitable.

A couple of our previous students, The Marks Trading Company and Harvest Chocolate are both on the move to retail locations of their own in the area. Congratulations!

We see dreams and vision for the future, despite world economics.

The upcoming Square One Pitch Competition is coming up on October 18, 2022. Co-hosted by Lenawee Now and the Adrian Armory, the Idea Genius award is $4,000 and the Audience Choice award is $1,000. Applications close on September 9th, so get more information on SquareOneIdea.

We see dedication for improvement and education.

Our Launch Lenawee Class #5 is nearing the end of the education component of the program. They’ve had lots to learn and consider as they set up their businesses…or restructured their existing businesses. We look forward to featuring these success stories in future announcements and posts.

We see support from others, to continue growth in our community.

Our annual fundraising event, the Taste of Lenawee, is October 7, 2022 at the Adrian Armory Community Center.

YOU, and many others in our community, see the value in supporting this fundraiser…and we hope you can continue this year as well.

We are accepting vendors and sponsors for the event, and tickets to attend are now on sale.

This is the only fundraising we do to support the Adrian Armory, Launch Lenawee, and the Makerspace Community Kitchen. Please consider supporting us again this year and having a great evening of tasting and networking!
